Pri Sch Meet

Went for a primary school gathering yesterday at VivoCity... Met up with about 10 of my Primary school friends... We went for a meal at Marche` (my first time there btw) and sat there to talk for quite a long time... We took turns updating on ourselves and it seemed totally like a speed dating session... LOL!

I felt rather happy that all of us are doing so well... Glad that everyone turned out fine...

Oh and during our time there we saw a local celebrity couple came in for their meal also... Not gonna say who :X. Anyway we didn't bother much about them, they deserve their quiet time alone also...

After the meal session, we went K'Box! (My first time too!, yes I just came down from Mountain Ulu Ulu). I just went there to sit and drink while the others sang on...

After exchanging our contacts, I left the group after an hour or so and went home to my beloved Gaming session... hehe

Hi all, been a month long of silence from me....
Been game hopping this past month... from Command & Conquer 3 to Rappelz to CS Source and back to Rappelz and on and on and on....

Work is still a forbidden area to discuss... it just keeps going on and on....

I was told to check out this 11 yr old girl by the name of Bianca Ryan on youtube... She took part in this American talent show... and damn, she is good... I couldn't resist but to post up a short video clip of her singing... Apparently she has already been around quite some time when I got to know this...

Been long since I updated...
Haven't been doing much except work and play... I've bought Command & Conquer 3 recently... Went to pre-order and attended the launch of the game for the limited edition stuffs... it rawks :X

So now, I've been gaming online in C&C3 to try and get a decent world ranking :)

Trying to tweak around a bit with my blog design also... so stay tuned.... First edition is the new background look....

Special Request Update

Well... this update is done under special request from a special someone.... (and no I do not have a girlfriend yet)

Doing fine recently... just been through some busy schedule at work... Very tired and fatigue from it... Things at work returning slowly back to normal now... will take about another week or so for it to settle down once again....

Life for me now is totally between work and home mostly.... Doing a little bit of reading... gaming on the computer as usual... and I am also considering a near future plan to do further studies... lets hope it goes smoothly... Once again, i find myself entering a phase of life where there is no light to head towards to... wandering aimlessly...

Just spending my days alone mostly now... was supposed to have an appointment today...but decided not to in the end... Didn't feel I that was so important for the other person to meet me....

My 22th Birthday...! Alone...

Yup... another year has gone... seeing myself facing the number 22 now.
Posting this to let those still wondering how I spent my 22nd birthday alone...
Managed to get leave from work the night before my birthday...

Woke up at about 9.30 in the morning... first thought of the day was... "What a wonderful day, i feel energetic..." First thing I did was to check thru my hp for birthday wishes... after that went to wash up...
Spent the morning having breakfast with my mom... went home and decided to do a little of everything I enjoyed....
So first...i started off with gaming... played a few games here and there... read thru the newspapers.... continued until about 2 plus, chatted a little on MSN.

Then i started to flip thru the newspapers again, wanted to watch a movie "Pirates of the Caribbean". Checked for the timings and decided to go P.S to catch the movie, booked my ticket for 3.35pm show online and collected it before leaving the house in the car. Arrived there and got myself a nice big cup of Iced lemon tea and went into the cinema to watch the movie... Pretty nice movie...

Anyway, movie end, I went to walk around the various floors... wanted to visit Times bookstore to spend some time reading book reviews... but too bad it was down for renovation or something... so no choice had to loiter around the place until I got hungry about 6pm. Scouted the various restraunts for about 30 minutes before deciding to eat alone at Pastamania...
Ordered a Ham and Baked rice and Iced caffe mocha and took my time to enjoy the food, the crowd, the drink and the slow passing time...

After food which was about 8 if i remember correctly, i went to walk around again for a little while before heading to the car and drove back...

Spent the night gaming again, Brian and Con came over, accompanied me for a while and gave me a birthday present, a white shirt with some designs...

And that was how my day went.... Celebrating my 22nd Birthday alone....
Went to bed about 2am after watching some TV variety show with my mom...

Hello all!
Time to remove the cobwebs around u and get this latest update of myself :)
Life as usual... work, eat, play, sleep... hehe
Got introduced to this jap drama show recently... in jap they call it Densha otoko a.k.a Train man in english... This story really touched me... and its based on a true story too...
Shall not give out too much freebies but the story is something about a guy who has totally no experience in dating, try to date a beautiful girl which he met through some incident... he gets help through an online discussion community for advices on courting the girl...
Shall not reveal much...buts its definately worth a watch...
Kind of like the story of a fairytale come true... which i am secretly hoping could occur to me one day... in the near future i hope... but of course a reality check puts me at close to 0% occurrence...

Ok...fantasy aside... back to work...
I got offered the responsibility of a leadership role recently... I couldn't believe it myself.... cos its just way ahead of my time... If i take up this post... which in normal circumstances will take me about another 2 to 3 years time, i will be pretty much on the fast track of things...
And my decision to my supervisor was.... to let the other seniors have their chance first... cos its definately too soon for me... so I recommended a few... and left the decision to my supervisor.... if the final decision was still for me to take the post, i'll do it...

On the gaming front, nothing new that i am playing as yet except heroes of might and magic 5... just a game to past some time... i feel as if i am not having the same feeling as i used to in gaming... perhaps i'm getting old and outgrown it already...

Ah... lastly... world cup is here.... having excitement watching the games.... add on the excitement a little by placing a few small bets for some games...hehe...
So good so far... profit is still on the positive end....

Month of March - April

Hey guys... once again... the long awaited updates...
Been working... gaming.... eating... sleeping... all the same routine :)
Katoots.com has been facing some downtime and change of ownership during this period too... I am taking over from Evermeet....and the domain name is still being held by the registrar company and refuses to release it for up to 75 days...
So i can just sit there and quack (sitting duck) for these 75 days... tried all forms of methods to try and get the domain name renewed, released or transferred... no avail.
Meanwhile, a new webhost and a billion ideas are being kept in check awaiting the revival of Katoots.com.

I finally bought a new handphone too... brought my father down along with me and finally got him to change his hp too... i got for myself a Nokia 6280... nice looking, stylish... and... I DROPPED IT! caused a little hairline crack at the side of the casing which I was told requires about $90/- or less to repair... which led to a lot of discussion and self cheating about it not being there... not worth it... its not noticable... ideas of wrapping the phone to cover up... Bottom line is... it will still be there no matter what i do other than repair it and I know its there.... So irritating! argh... can't bear to part with $90/-.... *sniff sniff*

Ok....anyway, the phone is good... functions and all... camera... non-monotone ring tones.... compared to my Nokia 8250... its one hell of a giant leap for myself!

Alright... times up... updates over... lazy to think of more to type...

A quick update for those of you who are still visiting...
Life is as per normal these days... kind of stuck in a routine... Had managed to get myself a game: Need For Speed Most Wanted... I'm actually quite impressed with the game, the AI this time round is better... more realistic though the leval of modifications you can do is limited somewhat... Think i gotta get myself a new graphics card also... the one i have currently kinda backwards already... and its always giving me some CPU recovery error due to the card not responding or something... bah...gonna change to G-Force... hope its better....
Started on this new game which Brian introduced to me... its a MMORPG called Silkroad Online... when i first played it caught my attention... it is still holding on to my attention for now... lets see how long they can keep me glued....

Anyway... i haven't been very into updating of my blog now... occupied with my games and also at work... can't really talk much about work either, too much hoo haa these days over when blog owners voice out their own opinions... I don't know who's reading my blog either... so better play safe... keep my posts general... and since my life is pretty much dull and routine... thus nothing much to post also...haha

Hey guys... Finally eh... The long awaited update. Been rather lazy to do the update...

After i ended from the previous post... i have since gotten myself a new ViewSonic LCD monitor for $388, courtesy of Comex 2005. My old one gave up being my gaming slave operating for 24/7 for the past year or two.
Other then that... work as usual... some changes here and there... including myself... Living life by the day...
Had a few "special" incident at work... the first was when someone left a bag at some corner of somewhere, people got scared and called... was kinda scared as it was also my first time handling such thing... but still, i volunteered to be the runner... no choice, my partner for that day was a female... a senior never the less, but whatever... So i handed over/switched off all my electonic equipments and stuff, in my mind i wanted to leave a long list of goodbyes but then again, wat the heck, I walked in...

my second "special" incident was the kinda like the same... bag left there, pple saw, pple call...

To cut the long story short, i ended up cursing whoever that persons is that left the things there... whether or not its left unintentionally, i shall remain cursing. For putting the minds of people in our trade through such mental torture each time.

Attended another chalet at Changi recently together with my colleagues... i finally got a view of the Old Changi Hospital... Nothing much... Basically a chill session from work for all of us.

Haven't been gaming much for the past month... when i do game its usually just to accompany my friends in the game... other then that, i find that the attacting factor is not getting to me. These days, i sit in front of my pc... stare at IRC, listen to music, scout through my MSN friend list, start up a small chat and stuff... Stoning basically... Feeling lost... seems like the self motivating factor is kinda diminished.

I have no idea wat is happening to me either... a companion perhaps? someone to spend time with... get motivated...

Lets hope this kinda feeling gets over soon... cos it kinda sucks... feeling lost... totally not constructive...

Hey guys... hope all you people are doing great the past week...
The week has gone by rather well except for a few hiccups here and there... been put in a situation where I am being scolded like I am the worse then the lowest scumbag of the society and watever... Couldn't really remember what was being said but I felt like the cheapest piece of shit. It felt bad... very bad... so bad that i felt angry. Gotta let it out somewhere, i chose to do so here, its the safest and healthiest place to do so I guess... :P But what the hell, I had a job to do and I did it, not like I enjoy doing it to him but I had to for the sake of the others. He who scolded me can spend his time facing the law.

Spent yesterday afternoon sleeping after returning from my night shift. Went to my aunt's place for my Bell's Palsy treatment in the night time... still as tortouring... still as painful... but I'm getting better...

Today was spent at home, gaming in the afternoon... was supposed to go out to watch a movie and stuff... guess the idea didn't really got rolling on... Met up with Hoong Sheng for dinner, went home and was supposed to catch my soccer on TV... halfway through received a phone call asking me to go attend some R.C function... so what the hell, got changed, went there and left after. Since already out, might as well go to Xinying's house together with Hoong sheng. Re-installed a software on her P.C and also passed some items back to her. Nothing much there... finished what I was to do, sent HS to Dover MRT and I drove home...

Well... thats about it... been wanting to change some music files on the blog and also upload some photos... guess that'll have to wait....

Quick Update

Hey guys... haven't been posting much after my 21st B'day... Just a quick update...
The days after my B'day i spent working and stuff.... After that, been resting for the entire 1st week of Aug...yep...from 1st all the way to the 8th... SHIOK!

After all the shiok, got to start work on National Day... work 2 consecutive night shifts...super tiring sia...
Met up with my insurance agent finally to get down to discussing on my insurance... managed to get most of the details agreed... will wait for him to send me the draft copy for me to read through before confirming on the deal...
Spent today gaming in the morning and then helping out with a friend on setting up some security and network stuffs at the house... was there from 4pm all the way to 7pm or so... went back, couldn't find any kaki to have dinner with so i ate alone at the coffeeshop...

Got back home, went back to gaming... hehe...
Gotta enjoy and destress...

Anyway, i've been diagnosed with something, not gonna say much just that it isn't life threatening...life is still going on, i am still going for treatments... painful treatments... just wish it'll be over soon...

On another note, i think i'm gonna change the songs on my blog... about time for some new tunes... hehe... will do that another day...

My 21st...

Hey guys, thanks for all the well wishes via sms, email, irc, msn, icq... etc Here was how my 21st went...

For those who hates reading long posts, this is a summarized version...
i spent 6 hours of my 21st b'day sleeping, 16 hrs at work, 25 mins travelling to and from work, 30 minutes eating dinner with my colleages from work, 1 hr bathing and changing etc... and last of all 5 minutes by myself...
What a day huh...

Ok for the longer version...
Slept at about 12 am yesterday... woke up about 6 hours later to the sound of my alarm clock. Had a quick shower, changed and left for station early. Was intending to eat breakfast while at my duty post for today... West Coast Pier. So i reached station, changed, got my equipments and went through briefing and stuff and off to West Coast Pier. Lunch was chicken rice... had wanted something more delicious but the colleague buying the food for me was rather busy so i'd have to make do with chicken rice. I spent my time reading my story book "Tom Clancy: Red Storm Rising" and listening to Class 95. Had a few endorsement to go through while on duty but yea its manageable... Had a great time chatting with my Cisco partner Alex too... my online friend Junkgal also called up for a little chat...
I once posted on how i would like to spend Birthday at the beach, with the clouds and the cool breeze... well, i got what i wished for... West Coast Pier has a view of the clear sky, its a jetty so water is there... and it was a rather breezy day... so yea... i got what i hoped my B'day would be like except for the uniform.
Handed over duty at 8:15 pm and headed back to station... there i got stuck with personal work as well as helping my colleagues clear off some work... so time spent doing that and add a little bit of time wasted here and there... Reported off work finally at about 11 pm and spent about 30 minutes eating dinner with most of the colleagues in my team... went back home and bathed and changed and stuff...
That was about 11:55 pm... so yea...i had 5 minutes of my 21st Birthday to spend for myself. What a day huh...

All i can say is that i lead a simple lifestyle with an extraordinary career....
Well guys... thats about it... perhaps i'll post something about myself for the past 21 years as far as i can recall tomorrow... Till then, cya...

The past few days...

Hey guys... hope everyone's doing fine.
The past few days has been rather enjoyable... starting with Saturday...
I had to perform deployment duties for some National Parade thingy for Primary school children, it was massive and tiring. Stood at my point for most of the day... was kinda feeling tired but towards the end of the whole thing, there came Fireworks.

This is the very first time i've seen fireworks in real life... it was captivating... the size... the precision and the creativity... I always thought fireworks are just fireworks when i see it on TV...but when i see it in real life... man it felt great. Hope i get to see it often in the future.

Sunday was doing night shift, decided not to have dinner before i go for work. Was planning to eat it during my rest time at work. It was a bad decision... the moment work started, my hand never stopped writing till about 4 hours later, then i finally had a chance to eat my already cold dinner... I just had my first few mouthfuls of food when I had to go off again... so no choice, had to repack the half eaten food and wait for the next opportunity to eat, that didn't happen until about 2 hours later. Other then that little bit of problem, the tour of duty was rather good, had a few scares, moments of excitement and stress here and there but yea... all is well.

Reported off duty today morning... had a little breakfast with my colleagues before leaving... was supposed to meet michelle, brian and corinne for a movie and lunch. Corinne didn't make it though. The 3 of us met up together with Kevin for lunch before leaving to watch the Fantastic 4 at West Mall. The movie was alright, though not as action packed as i hope it would be but still it was worth the watch. After movie i sent Brian and Michelle home before going home for a little nap... work up about 7pm and went out again with michelle and brian to meet corinne at Jurong Point for dinner... there we spent some time talking and having dinner...then we moved on to Swensons for a little chat session. Caught up with things, talked a whole lot of stuffs... It wasn't until 10pm that we left the place for home... On the way out of the mall we saw Felicia Chin and some male actor filming for some drama... she was tall... pretty too... took a little bit of time to see see look look and then we left.

Sent everyone back home in my car before heading home myself. It was an enjoyable day... wish i have a few more such sessions with my old classmates... gonna have to start making arrangements.

My Birthday is coming in a few days time... yipee... I had written in an earlier blog entry about spending my day at the sea side peacefully watching clouds etc... so yea i took leave to do just that... Things didn't turn out that well though... i had my leave cancelled cos the team was having a lack of manpower for the next shift. So i have to work... on my Birthday. Bah.... Things were not as bad though... cos i was deployed to a post just next to a jetty... so yea, i still get to spend the day at the sea side and yea i hopefully will still get to watch the clouds and live the day in peace...

Woke up at 10 plus... Fixed up an appointment with my pal Brian and off we go...
So armed with our digital cameras, we went around places taking photos and stuff... it was tiring stuff but we enjoyed it... Managed to take some funny shots of us at work...
We even managed to buy some stuffs while at work...
And of course we had a few curious stares here and there but things went on smoothly... we took over about 3 hours before we managed to complete everything we set out to take...
After that we met up with Constantine and decided to chill out at home... wanted to watch a movie at first but decided against it... Anyways... met up with some hardware trouble while transferring photos from the memory stick to my computer so we spent about 1 hour or so trying to figure out what the hell is the problem... End up we discovered it was some design fault on my PC that caused the problem... lucky for us though...it was solved...

All 3 of us had dinner at West Coast market... then we spent some time at my home again gaming... A rather enjoyable day... :)
Gotta work tomorrow... gonna be a busy few days again... will update you guys once i am free...

Qian Hui's 21st...

Attended my Secondary school classmate's birthday yesterday together with brian, con and kevin. Had gone to Citigems earlier at West Mall together with Brian to get her a key-shaped pendant along with a chain, hope she likes it...
Her BBQ party was at Chevrons and she invited quite a number of long lost sec school classmates. Had a chance to chat with all of them, got to know how they are doing, their future plans etc... its good to see that everyone is doing fine. Among them, Samantha was also my kindergarden school friend... now thats a friendship that goes a looooong way... so i'm particularly glad that she's doing fine now. Towards the end of the party, samantha had got shawn lin down to fetch her.... shawn is my primary school friend and we used to hang out together... caught up on old times with him too... happy to have been able to meet my old buddies...
Had to leave the party after the cake cutting though... was kinda in a hurry to get home as i have to work. Kevin also had to reach home due to some family matters...
Waved farewell, hopefully not for the last time, to all my friends... and left.
Seems like everyone around me getting the big 21 already...mine coming soon too... July 20th... been deciding to spend that day alone...peacefully, quietly at the beach or some place... will see how the day goes...
Gonna go to bed now... have to wake up in a few hours time for work... its gonna be a battlezone... wish me luck... Good night...

Its been a rather peaceful night... performed post duties and then performed station desk duties... for a start, there was NO CRIME REPORTED! Thats like once in a century kind of thing... so yea... lucky me...
Things were so damn good but it all changed in the morning... when my CO walked into station...
Can't say much...just that i got F-ed by him big time.... after which he go and F-ed my Team leader who in turn F-ed me... shit rolls downhill, what can i say man...
Gotta stay low profile for months...go into secluson...
After shift, had a light brunch... pop into bed and stayed there all the way till night. Received a phone call from my group leader to go attend some dispute thingy between some residents with my RC chairman. Been there, Finished that...back home... sleep...
Well what a way to end what started out as something peaceful...

Hey guys... Been long since I updated the blog... Sorry about that... Its been a rather heavy schedule for me... Been working since the 3rd... Its the 13th today... I have to continue working until 16th morning...
lotsa things have happened too... failed my IPPT (dammit...by 27 seconds), fell sick and weak, had a few added on responsibilities from work too...
Tomorrow is my 1 year anniversary as a P.O, it has been an eventful year. I think i might be going to miss the gathering together with my squad matesthough... will be on course tomorrow... lets hope the course finishes early so i can go for the gathering...
Lets hope I get my off days soon... wanna take a long rest and also catch up on a few movies which i wanted to catch... I'm gonna go rest now... another long day tomorrow... till next time...Take care my friends

Yesterday was my secondary school buddy Hoong Sheng's 21st birthday... we had spent the previous day shopping around with Con, Zemin and Brian looking for a birthday card and birthday present for HS. He had wanted to give us a treat at Merchant Court Hotel which was near to Clark Quay.

Back to yesterday, all of us spent the first half of the day at home... was supposed to meet up with zemin and brian for lunch... end up they ate their lunch and i waited at home like some goondu... We met up again about 4 or 5 plus, Brian drove so we all packed into the car and went early afraid that we would not get a parking. Got there, found plenty of parking space, went walking around the area and most importantly i got to eat my super late lunch at Macdonalds (which was not a very wise decision since buffet dinner would be soon).

Met up with HS and 2 of his primary school classmates, Yiwen and Xinhui if i recall their names correctly... Nice and well mannered ladies... One was in Computer Science and the other in some Business course if i am not wrong, we didn't get to interact much though. Spent the entire time eating food and talking to HS. The food was delicious, but i didn't get to eat the fried ice-cream. All of them found where it was, i was the only nut that couldn't locate the damn thing. Anyway, i gave up finding cos i was kinda full already...

After dinner, the 2 ladies took their leave and we went to some Wine bar in Dempsey Rd, some ulu ulu corner... The atmosphere was nice and cooling, just the place to chill and all that... HS, Con and Zemin shared a bottle of red wine, me and brian took plain water. Brian couldn't drink the wine cos he was driving, i didn't want to drink... Made myself a promise to not touch those until a little later in life.

After the chilling session, we all went home... Brian sent all of us back in the car... A pretty nice outing... Would really hope to have a few of these gatherings more often, catch up with old friends etc...

Hello once again, its been a busy week... Work has been coming in non-stop for me during the previous shift... Luckily i was given a day's leave for my next shift which was yesterday...
Spent the day playing SWAT 4 multi-player with a few friends of mine, after which i went to catch a movie, Divergence, with my buddy brian at west mall. Not a bad movie... but storyline could be improved though...3 out of 5 stars from me.... After the movie drove back home and watched some tv before finally going to bed.

Its an off day today and tomorrow! Shiok! Hehe... not sure what i'm gonna do though... Dad spoke to me about my recent rising habit of watching movies... told me to control it a little... I myself agree too... will see what i can do...hehe

Yep... been rather lazy lately at updating the blog...
Partly because most of the time i am at work and i can't really discuss these matters... nothing much has been happening to my personal life at the moment...
A piece of good news is that the serial molester in the Clementi area has already been apprehended... the streets are safe once again for ladies who are walking alone.
I feel at ease too... knowing this fact...

Anyway, just got back from work... gonna make full use of it cos i got extra duties tomorrow at an undisclosed time... another day off burnt :(

Its been a rather tiring period of shift work...
only managed to get a day off to sleep the 2 days ago just after my night shift...
then its work again yesterday morning... looking forward to the next rest days after my night shift tonight...
Gonna make sure i got plenty of rest... all the sickness setting in already....

Today is the start of my 3 consecutive days of working...
Its been a rather peaceful day today at the Pier... had some special visits from some department guys... had a nice little chat... encountered a bit of rain... enjoyed a little bit of sea breeze... last of all... missed my secondary sch class gathering... -_-"

Tomorrow will be a peaceful day i hope... gotta have to conserve energy for my third day... that is gonna be a full 36 hours and more of work...

A tiring day it has been... though none too serious... but still... it is still a rather drainous day.
Have a few tasks still on my pending list which i have to clear soon...

Went to watch Robots just yesterday with Brian... not a bad show... worth the money i guess...
Gonna have to watch Hostage, Assault on Precinct 13, Hitch... got a few upcoming movies i wanna watch too....
Madagascar, War of the Worlds and of course... Star wars 3!!!

Had a very scary and horrible day yesterday...
Woke up at 5 plus in the morning to prepare to go back to station for some unit activities...
Felt rather full at breakfast... even though i ate very little....
Went to station and everything went smoothly... went back to academy for some competition thingy as a spectator....
It all happened during lunch at the canteen... i was still feeling full so i didn't get myself anything to eat... bought a bottle of iced tea to drink though...
I was chatting and all seemed well... started to feel a bit funny and felt like throwing up...
so i went out to the back of the canteen washing bay to prepare myself for some throwing up session....
The nightmare begun... i suddenly felt dizzy and was about to faint... X_X... i clung on to the washing basin in hopes that someone would see me and come to my aid...
It must have been a very long time before someone came over and helped me to a chair to rest... by then i was breaking out in cold sweat profusely... had a little rest and started to feel better...
But that wasn't the end yet... i was about to stand up to walk back when i felt like throwing up... this time it came... my breakfast along with watever i drank since morning... all in one big and long continuous session.Wasn't sure wat was gonna happen... The thought of dying just like that came to my mind too... and i was thinking, what a joke man... to die just like this...
The rest of the day after that i was in and out of sleep... all the way till i got home where i slept all the way till 10, had a slice of bread, then back to sleep till today morning where i had to report for work again...

Phew... wat a day man...

Battlefield...

yep... my Team leader finally sent me to the infamous "battlefield" of Clementi division....
WEST COAST NPP....
True enough... before i stepped into the post, there were already complainants in the post waiting for the arrival of someone to help them... which is without doubt.... me
The moment i took over the post, things have been happening all the way... reports and services keep rolling in... sometimes 2 at the same time asking questions... Phew...
That place kept me busy all the way past the post's operating hours... supposed to close post at 10 pm... ended up i closed the post at 11:30. Man... that place is a frigging battlefield....

Anyway, spent the remaining of my shift in station doing all the paper work and crime reports and watever blah blah all the way throughout the night.... until the time we report off at 8...
man was is one tiring night....

Reached home and had a little bit of e-mail clearing and went straight to bed... knocked out all the way until 6pm... phew! wat a good rest.... :)

Think i'll be looking forward to more trips to the battlefield soon enough.... my Team Leader is bound to push me there.... Someone send me a helmet and body armour vest please?

Didn't get to do either of the 2 things i intended to do today...
Buddy is in camp on duty... girl is at the library... busy studying for upcoming exams i presume...
So poor me stayed at home whole day...wondering what the hell to do....
End up i watched finish some anime series and had a few games of warcraft...

Tomorrow i'm working again... so tiring..just finished night shift on saturday morning... today morning got ambush until 6am... then tomorrow work... i am serverely tapped dry of energy... helpppppppppppp..... *chokes*

Anyway...all is fine at work and at home and everywhere else... The stress is ever present at work...learnt to accept it now...can't avoid. But doesn't mean i won't complain at all though...hehe, gotta release some stress by complaining some times....

Gonna have this weekend saturday and sunday off for myself... intend to ask someone out for a date... wonder if she's free or not... if i don't do that, most prob i'll go watch some movie with my regular buddies... not intending to stay home this weekend...

This is my first day doing NPP in the morning shift... My team leader was kind enough to put me in to BT NPP. So yea... my mind goes thinking......"Can't be that bad... it has a good record of low crime reports"

To my horror... today was the day i had to do MANUAL report lodging cos some guy decided to remove the post's printer for servicing and didn't replace it with a new one temporarily... so there i am sitting at the post...
WRITING REPORTS MANUALLY O_o

In an era like this where reports are done on the keyboard and mouse... i am doing it with tracing paper, pen and manual report lodging forms... Why am i even in this state... geez :/

Anyway... nuff said... tomorrow shall be a better day!

Phew! Its been really really hot these few days... had to switch on my aircon almost everyday...
Lucky thing its starting to rain for the past 2 days... Gonna be a lot more help in putting out the heat and the bush fires...

Tried to setup Lineage 2 server today with my squad mate, Ken. Spent a few hours tinkering with the settings but until now we've still not got past the logging in stage... man this is harder then i thought...

Yup... as u can see from the topic... its gonna be real crazy the next few days...
This is due to another Team going for some overseas trip so we got to cover for their shifts apart from our own duties as well...

Gonna work morning on Friday, night on Saturday (there goes my soccer matches again), night shift on Sunday(there goes my Sunday night TV shows).
After that i'll have Monday for myself to sleep... and then its back to morning shift on Tuesday, morning shift on Wednesday and last but not least a night shift on Thursday.

Phew! How am i gonna survive all!?

Got home reaaaaaaal late yesterday...
Worked from 7am till 11pm... which is totally way off my normal working shift hours.... and it sucks... didn't have a chance to eat my dinner until 11pm also... sigh...

Had to go to Alexandra Hospital for something... i was there all the way sincce 7pm... man...it was not the least enjoyable at all...

Was supposed to go for 2 of my friend's chalet at first...gonna drive over... but cos of the hospital thingy, i went home to bed in the end... blah...

Went down to Funan to collect it yesterday after i got home in the morning from my night shift... It was a free gift thing given to me for signing up for a bank's investment plan... anyway... i went down with my friend brian... i was damn tired on the way back that i fell asleep on the MRT.

Just back from my 24 hour shift...
Lotsa 'crap' happened during my tour of duty...but the one handling the 'crap' is not us...we're just attached to these officers to get a feel of the 'crap', hehe...

Went through the entire tour and feeling rather satisfied with how the way things work in the branch at the end of my tour... kinda tired though.... but i only felt tired only at 6a.m today... 2 hours before the end of my tour... Pretty amazed i could last the entire 9/10th of the shift...

Anyway... returned home not feeling very tired now... probably because of the amount of coffee and tea we had during the entire course of our duty....

Think i'll go do some stuffs, maybe play some games....perhaps if i feel tired later i would rest a little :)
Oh yea...i'm feeling super hungry too...gonna have to wait for my dad to buy some packet food back....

Mazda 323 Rocks!

Had a chance to drive the other day at work....
They wanted me to familiarise myself with the van and the car... so yea...got to drive the police van and the mazda 323...
The feeling is entirely different while u're out on the road... the road users also react differently to you when u are in that vehicle...
Anyway...the mazda 323 kind of made my day... the feel of driving the car is so slick...so cool...so smooth.... man i just love it....
I think i'm gonna get myself a mazda in the future...hehe

Suffered a major scare the other day while performing duty... Everything was so tensed... luckily everything turned out fine... hopefully no follow up will take place or it will be a very busy week ahead....

Lifestyle has changed quite a bit for me... doing night shifts seems to be getting more and more less tiring... perhaps i'm getting used to it already...

The end of my 2 weeks attachment in RHQ is coming to an end soon... then i'll be posted to another NPC as my final posting... hope i can get back to my previous BMW NPC and same Team... it would really make my day... Oh well, gotta wait and see how those people in management puts me...

So good to have a day off today...
Feeling very tired at the end of my 1 tour of duty yesterday morning... came back home but managed to stay awake and played some computer games. Stayed awake all the way unil bedtime at night... man..thats a long time to be not sleeping... i think 36 hours nv sleep...

Anyway...today is my day off...gonna stay home and relax, perhaps sleep early later at night...Tomorrow is another working day again :)

Got up pretty late today.... might be still considered as early for some of you guys though... 9am, hehe.
Did the usual routine of breakfast blah blah... after that i spent most of my noon gaming... spending my time away...
Got tired of gaming and went over to chat a bit on the MSN with some friends.... Kok hai just came back from his on-ship attachment of 6 months plus... Thankfully he's back safe and sound... :)

Anyway....i won't be having the luxury of posting regular updates on my blog soon... gonna start work soon... my leave ends on the 29th... after which i will be reporting to Clementi Division for duty.... lets hope i get assigned back to bukit merah west npc. :)

As the MC read out my name and i walked up on stage smartly... I took the final few steps in front of the Guest-of-Honour.
Out came my hands to recieve the prize... the Certificate of Accomplishment and the Warrant Card...
It is till then that i told myself... Finally... i'm done here....it is finally over and done with...

Passing out ceremony was exciting... everything went on smoothly... nervous and happy moments filled this event. Will post more tomorrow... see ya!

Thinking back...time flies... it was just like yesterday when i just had my hair cut bald...

A little late entry i'm gonna make here....
Booked out early on friday and i rushed home quickly to change. I was gonna catch this European Circus performance with a special someone. It has been some time since i went out with her... everybody has been busy for the past few months... so it was kinda lucky we got to get together again for an outing.

We met up and had dinner together before going for the circus... it was quite an interesting show, seeing how the performers bend and stretch and do stunts. The best part though was not because i was at the show.... but it was because she was with me. Her presence alone was enough for me... i wouldn't care where i was...just as long as she was by my side...
In my heart, I thank her for being there....

The show ended quite late... we went back together and we reached home about 12 midnight or so.... I sent her home... something i which hadn't done for quite some time.... wonder if i'll get to do it more often in the future.... wonder if she feels the special same way which i do too...hmmm....

Yipee... three more weeks to my passing out ceremony... Can't wait for it to happen...
To be exact, its on the 16th of december... after that i'll have a long break all the way until the end of the month before i am actually assigned for duty. Gonna make full use of this long break to do all the things i wanted to...
As for now, i'll still have to return to academy and attend some courses and talks organised by the various departments... If you ask me, i think its a bit of a waste of time... but too bad...i'm still a trainee... :P

Hello again...
Today was my 2nd day off from duty... just nice it falls on a public holiday too...
Night shift work on tuesday was exciting... managed to get full gear and patrol out in the streets for the first time... the feeling was just great....
At the end of my shift next day, i had to attend a de-briefing session which lasted till 9am, after which i returned home and slept all the way till 6:30pm! O_o a pig i am indeed, haha.

Anyway, tomorrow i'm on morning shift... can't talk much now... gotta get some rest...

Wheeee... another weekend has come...
This week in academy was a rather packed one, had first aid lessons/tests and also some scenario based tests... I've cleared almost every single test that is required of me... think theres still bits and pieces of training more to go here and there...

I'm now out going on attachment to a Police Division for 2 weeks!... yipee... that means i don't have to go back to academy for 2 weeks. Can't wait to see the real action down on the division.

Anyway, i'm gonna enjoy myself for a while now... will update the blog later on... see ya :)

The exams are OVER! Woohooo!
At the very moment i put the last Full stop into my sentence i heaved a sigh of relief, luckily the papers were not too hard. Perhaps its because i have spent the entire week studying for it... But watever it is... It is really over... Looking back, time really flies in my weeks in Police Academy...

Went home on friday with a smile on my face... had my first sweet relaxing sleep in months...

Had a movie outing with Brian and Con yesterday, we watched The Manchurian Candidate... quite an interesting story, filled with lots of twist and turns... Gonna have to decide what i'm gonna watch next week soon... Hopefully something nice comes out over the weekdays...

Another week has gone by... my exams are drawing near, along with my attachment...
Can't wait for the time to go by more quickly... feeling rather stressed up now.
Anyway, went out with Con, Brian(1) and Brian(2) yesterday to catch the New Police Story... a very nice movie it was... a must catch for those who has yet to watch it.
Anyway, its gonna be a busy few weeks for me so updates here are gonna get lesser... bear with it.. I'll be back :)

The 1st 5-day week...

The first 5-day week has just finished... right after my 3 day shift for the President's Challenge Charity... what lousy timing :(

Though training hours were extended, it felt as if time got by as usual for me... didn't really feel the loss of not being able to book out on wednesday nights... Had a few changes in my company and had a lot of intensive training too.... Guess this week is the toughest week by far...

My arm and shoulders hurt a lot... due to the training that is... bruises everywhere... hope it'll recover in time for my training next week...

Exams are drawing near, academic studies getting tougher by the week... haven't felt this stressful for a long time.... wonder if i'll get someone else to share my burdens with other then my anonymous readers on the cyberworld...

Anyway... i'll diary again tomorrow... see ya guys...

Ah... this weekend has gone by too fast... got home from camp at 11:30pm or so on friday... it had to be so late cos i had to attend driving lessons which ended at 10:30pm...bah...
Spent my saturday morning and noon at home...Attended my squad mate's Birthday in the evening... and returned home late again... :( *maybe thats why the weekend seems so fast...*

Today i stayed home the entire day gaming... nothing interesting going on... booking in to camp later...
Next week i won't be booking out to come home... been assigned to do shift work duty at Orchard for 3 days... so if any of you are heading down there next weekend, keep an eye out for me ya :)
I will only return the week after, hope i won't miss my games so much...hehe

Hey guys... its time for my weekly post again :)
This week's been good... attended my Polytechnic Graduation Ceremony on Wednesday and got my Diploma(Finally after such a long wait since May....), Sue anne sms-ed me right after i went on-stage to recieve my cert telling me that i was on the internet web stream... and i was like... "Coool...". Anyway, i met up with my classmates and took a few photos and caught up on how each of us were doing. After that I called up my Final Year Project Lecturers down to foodcourt 4 and gave them a treat, we had a long chat before realising it was time for us to leave as it was getting late and i had to return to camp.

Driving lessons have been carrying on as usual... learning quite steadily as i go along... Nothing much to fear about there...

Went to watch Alien vs Predator yesterday with one of my squad mate... the movie only gets a 'Good' rating from me. Storyline was pretty weak but the scenes were pretty decent...

Thats about all i did this week, I must say its been a very fufilling week :)

Apologise for the delay in the update of this blog....
Been busy with training and stuffs the past weeks that i could't squeeze out that ounce of energy to come and post...

Anyway, my 9th week of training is over.... everything's going on smoothly now i guess...
Life is good... training's fun... squad is whacky and super happening... so yea... more to come... :)

At last... i found a little bit of free time to update my blog...
Been rather busy the past weeks... Have had a tiring week studying and also training.... Time flies... Its been 7 weeks of training already... Almost qualified to be known as Senior squads already :P
Oh well... pros and cons being called seniors... but i shan't go any further... its late... i need SLEEP......

This week has been a good week for me...
My squad mate got married yesterday... all of us went down to congratulate her, the entire place filled with botaks...hehe
Another piece of good news... I passed my Basic Theory Test!!!! wheeee... gonnna take my Final Theory Test soon i guess.... Hope it works out just as fine...

Another week has passed... Life at the academy seems easier to get by already, the squad is like a big family now... my main concern in training now though, is to get myself physically strong for my IPPT, can't do chin-ups and i am not very confident on my ability to complete the 2.4km run in time... Lets hope things will work out fine like that used to frequently... Hard work is definately expected.

Spent my saturday relaxing at home, watched a few episodes of my animations...Booking in again tonight. See you guys again next weekend :)

Finally, after a week in police academy(TRACOM) i return home for the first time...
1st week of training at Police academy finally over... First 2 days of training were rather a simple, a lot of patience training as we wait for something to happen or for orders from the top.
3rd day onwards we had a taste of the morning physical training... man it was a killer... this morning P.T was a daily thing so yea... had to endure 3 days of P.T. I couldn't do my push ups as a result of over training myself on the 2nd night and the muscles got so tensed up and hurts so much that i have no strength to do any push ups.

We nearly could not return today during book out... Partly our fault and a little bit of naive thinking there, partly was a misunderstanding in instructions. Anyway... it happened like this... Our squad marched off to book out without informing the instructors and we got called back as we were about to reach the gate... fears of confinement on our first bookout day were on our minds as we marched back. When we got back the Squad Leader and Chairman got a hell of a scolding before we got a taste of it... shit rolls downhill so yea... we were the last in line to get shit. Anyway, after some scoldings we recited what seemed to be our company's pledge... man it was long, gotta learn it soon. After that we were allowed to march to the parade square to report for dismissal... the squad broke up and left in their respective directions...

Well... spent my day in front of the Computer for what seems to be the last time in a few days/weeks/months? Had a few differing "i thinks..." from my friends on the number of days i am to stay in confinement. Going to go off to the Police Academy to start my training tomorrow... gotta reach there by 9 a.m in smart attire.

Totally satisfied with the way i spent my last few days... guess the only things i'll miss are my computer games and the on-going Euro 2004. Worst of all, i will not be able to watch the England vs France match as i will have to sleep early tonight, what luck :(

Anyway, i'll be updating the blog as and when i am free... do drop me a message/email once in a while... :)

Woke up early today... earlier then the alarm clock could ring hehe...
Headed down to City hall to meet up with a few team members as well as members of Katoots...Had lunch together at Fountain Food Terrace in Suntec before heading off to the Gashapon fair... Man this is the first time i ever saw so much gashapon machines all at once in ROWS! Needless to say, collectors were starting to take out their bag of $1 coins and heading off to scout for their camping spot in front of a machine. We stayed around, had some fun trading, assembling and checking out what each other got. We had a little publicity for Katoots too, film crew from Channel News Asia came down for a report on this fair and caught us there requesting for an interview with Katoots members.
I got myself an entire set of Full Metal Alchemist and a spare character... Brian bought his airbrush and compressor along with a holder... We had a fun day... :) Tired now...gotta go watch Euro 2004 while i still can. 1 day left before i go report for National Service!

D-Day Plus 1: Boring...

Nothing special today... Played an online RPG called Risk your life for an entire day... Think SCV's got some problems with their DNS server or something, i haven't been able to access my Katoots forum for the whole day...

Woke up early in the morning at 6:45am... Went for breakfast with my family and headed down to the P.A after picking up my cousin who's standing in as my surety. We expected the trip to be a long one... but the roads were smooth traffic to the extend that we arrived there 1 hour 30 mins early -_-". So the 4 of us sat in the car, read some newspapers, watched a few platoons march by, listened to the radio until it was time to go in.

The ceremony was not as grand as expected...but it's still a solemn one... the atmosphere was rather tensed too... First time, cannot blame :X
Anyway, the entire ceremony ended short of noon, just in time for lunch at Beach Road. After lunch we went shopping for my stuffs required for training at the army market. Man the costs totalled up to a cost of $80... didn't expect so expensive...

Headed home after that...but not before visiting my grandma who's living with my cousin's family...

My last post of 9th June 2004... Going to bed early so i can wake up early and refreshed tomorrow. Chatted a little bit more then usual today, got a few farewells from my friends through MSN... I guess everything's more or less been taken care of except for one last person... Think thats the only matter i can't set my mind to rest... and i gotta live with that...

Been a boring day for me... spent my morning playing an online role playing game. I spent my entire afternoon sorting out MP3s which i transferred over from my friend, the filenames were all messed up and many were either duplicates or incomplete... Phew...

Thats right... tomorrow, the day i step into the law enforcement sector... the day i start life as a police trainee.... a new chapter opens as i journey into the world of law enforcement and justice... I shall update you readers again tomorrow on how things went at the Police Academy.
